In Geneva, I'd save the afternoon for the Old Town.
The city tourism guide describes its cobbled lanes, small squares, passages and St. Peter's Cathedral. [1] That's exactly the kind of place where I wouldn't want to hurry.
I'd bring a jacket, comfortable shoes and perhaps a little notebook. There is always one shop window or doorway worth remembering.
The plan could be very simple: walk, stop for coffee, walk some more.
If it rains, I'll find a café. I'm not above changing an itinerary for cake.
